French Frigate Amiral Ronarc’h Successfully Completes Sea Trials

The latest addition to the French Navy, the frigate Amiral Ronarc’h, has completed its initial sea trials.

This frigate represents a new class of French warships designed by the Naval Group for the French Navy and export clients such as Greece.

These frigates are designed to be versatile, and capable of performing various roles, including air defence, anti-submarine warfare, and surface warfare.

The Amiral Ronarc’h class frigates feature advanced digital technologies and modular architectures, allowing for easy upgrades to counter evolving threats.

Moreover, they are equipped with the SEA FIRE radar, the SENTINEL electronic warfare system, and the CAPTAS-4 integrated sonar for long-range submarine detection.
