South Korea has revealed for the first time its Hyunmoo-5 ballistic missile, equipped with a massive 8-tonne warhead.
The primary objective of this missile is to target deeply buried command centres and other military installations.
Experts also suggest that the Hyunmoo-5 may have variants with a lighter 1-tonne warhead.
Powered by solid fuel, this missile is equipped with an 8-tonne warhead and is expected to have a range of no more than 300 kilometres. However it boasts impressive dimensions, measuring 16 metres in length and 1.6 metres in diameter.
