His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, the President of the UAE, visited the 20th edition of the Abu Dhabi International Hunting and Equestrian Exhibition, organized by the “Emirates Falconers Club” under the slogan “Sustainability and Heritage… A Reborn Aspiration” and hosted by the Abu Dhabi National Exhibition Centre “ADNEC.”
During his tour of ADIHEX 2023, which runs from September 2 to 8 of this month, His Highness was briefed on the participation of several national and foreign pavilions and the modern equipment and supplies related to hunting and equestrian sports.
Speaking with the exhibitors, His Highness discussed the importance of their participation in the exhibition and listened to their explanations about the unique features of their products and exhibits, which contribute to preserving the sustainability of heritage sports and environmental components and resources.
Furthermore, His Highness emphasized the country’s interest in preserving its cultural heritage and enhancing its role in consolidating the components of national identity, pointing out the UAE’s keenness to continue its qualitative contributions and initiatives in protecting the common human heritage, which is a wealth for generations and a bridge for interaction and communication between cultures and peoples.
He praised the message and goals of the exhibition in focusing on environmental and sustainability issues, in addition to promoting sustainable hunting methods, lauding the efforts of the organizing committee, supporters, and partners in the success of the exhibition over the past 20 years.
Moreover, His Highness pointed to the outstanding organization of the exhibition for the 2023 edition and the scale of the diverse participation and accompanying events, which enhance the concept of sustainability and environmental preservation.
During the visit, His Highness was accompanied by His Excellency Sheikh Mohammed bin Hamad bin Tahnoon Al Nahyan, Special Advisor to the Presidency, H.E. Staff Major General Pilot Faris Khalaf Al Mazrouei Abu Dhabi Police Commander-in-Chief, Chairman of the Festival and Cultural, and Heritage Programs Management Committee, and His Excellency Majid Ali Al Mansoori, Chairman of the Supreme Organizing Committee of the Abu Dhabi International Hunting and Equestrian Exhibition, and several senior officials.
