On 20 June 2024, Abdul Rahman Sabt Mubarak Al Marri, Assistant Chief of Staff for Joint Capabilities at the UAE Ministry of Defence, signed a certificate of recognition with the French Government Aviation Safety Authority (DSAE).
The DSAE is recognised as a military airworthiness authority comparable to the UAE Military Airworthiness Authority (UAEMAR) and compliant with European Military Airworthiness Requirements (EMAR).
The French side was represented by Major General Stéphane Ferme, CEO of DSAE. The signing took place on the sidelines of the Eurosatory 2024 Defence and Security Exhibition, held from 17 to 21 June 2024.
This cooperation aims to strengthen the military relations between the two friendly countries in the aviation industry, adhering to internationally recognised standards.
