President of Indonesia Joko Widodo was briefed by Mohammed bin Ahmed Al Bowardi, Minister of State for Defence Affairs, on the defence technologies showcased by the UAE pavilion at the Indo Defence Expo & Forum, now running in Jakarta, Indonesia.
Al Bowardi accompanied the Indonesian president on a tour of the Emirati pavilion, which showcases AI-based defence and security equipment manufactured by the UAE companies participating in the exhibition. Widodo lauded the Emirati advanced defence technologies exhibited at the event.
Al Bowardi and his delegation then toured the pavilions of other participating countries and companies.
He also toured the pavilions of Emirati companies and learnt about the latest technologies they are displaying, as well as the platforms of Indonesian defence and security companies.
