The Indian Ministry of Defence has successfully completed field evaluation trials of the Nag Mk 2, a locally developed third-generation guided anti-tank missile.
These trials demonstrated the missile’s ability to destroy all the designated targets at maximum and minimum ranges during three experimental launch operations.
Designed to fulfil the need for a locally produced guided anti-tank missile, the Nag trials included the evaluation of the Nag Missile Carrier (NAMICA) Version 2, a modified BMP-2 Sarath platform, and confirmed the system’s readiness to enter service.
