Diehl Defense BGT has unveiled a new design for a new generation of air-to-air missiles called IRIS-T Future Combat Air-to-Air Missile (FCAAM).
The design of the missile focuses on stealth technology, which ensures that the missile is detected after it is too late, as well as speed, as it can exceed Mach 4 with higher maneuverability.
This Germany-based company is the manufacturer of the famous IRIS-T SLM and IRIS-T SLS air defense systems, which the Egyptian army recently purchased.
The FCAAM air-to-air missile is designed for use on futuristic aircrafts such as the European FCAS NGF.
