Pakistan has marked a significant milestone with the successful launch of the ‘Fatah-2’ missile system, locally manufactured by the Pakistani company GIDS.
The Pakistani Ministry of Defence confirmed that the purpose of this test was to verify the technical specifications and advanced systems integrated into the missile. The test demonstrated the Fatah-2’s capability to accurately hit enemy targets at a range of up to 400 kilometres.
The Fatah-2 features an advanced satellite-guided navigation system, enhancing its precision and making it a formidable tool for strengthening Pakistan’s deterrence capabilities.
This missile system holds significant strategic importance and is considered similar to the American HIMARS system, which has proven effective in various combat scenarios.
