Russia has started manufacturing the “Grom” (Thunder) high-speed strike drone.
The Russian “TASS” agency announced that it had confirmed reports about the signing of a government agreement with the Ministry of Defense to draw up the design project for the drone.
Furthermore, the “Grom” drone is designed to be an unmanned attack aircraft, with the ability to cooperate with manned aircraft.
The GROM drone has the ability to confuse enemy air defenses, and strike targets when it is being tracked, in addition, it can carry “Kha-38” air-to-surface missiles.
This GROM will cooperate with a squadron of 10 small-sized strike and reconnaissance drones and will have the ability to change the mission of each one of the support drones.
