Micro-drones that perform reconnaissance and guidance operations pose significant risks to Russian forces in the Ukraine operation.
While traditional air defenses can detect micro-drones, despite their limited reflective surface, when hovering in the air, the quadcopter is virtually impossible to detect.
However, a team of Russian specialists from the company “Bazovi Technology” has managed to design a compact radar capable of instantly detecting an unwanted target, even if it was hovering and suspended in the air.
The new radar has the ability to work in all weather conditions, day and night, and can be used to protect different types of installations with a range of 30 km per radar, which can be increased exponentially with a network of these radars.
