Russia Unveils Advanced Long-Range Radar

Russian company Ruselectronics has unveiled a new long-range radar, the export version of the ChVA-001-04RP-E radars, which surpasses its foreign counterparts in several ways.

Lighter and more compact, the new radar features a broader frequency range, requires fewer antennas and has a significantly lower production cost compared to other radars in its class.

Moreover, experts noted that the new radar consumes minimal power and can be installed on various types of ships or land vehicles.

Furthermore, it is relatively easy to transport and install, as technicians can disassemble, transport, and reassemble the equipment within 6 hours.

The radar operates on frequencies ranging from 300 MHz to 18 GHz, with a rotating antenna that provides 360-degree surveillance and target tracking.
