South Africa Unveils Unmanned Combat Aerial Vehicle

Milkor, a South African company, has revealed a prototype of its unmanned combat aerial vehicle (UCAV) designed for long-range flights at medium altitudes.

The Milkor UCAV is intended to be a versatile air-launched platform suitable for surveillance, intelligence gathering, and offensive operations.

The system boasts multiple capabilities, including autonomous flight, takeoff and landing, robust control and communication systems, line-of-sight (LOS), and beyond-line-of-sight (BLOS) communication.

The Milkor 380 has been designed for multi-role operational versatility, allowing for flight, takeoff, and landing control through the onboard flight control system.
