South Korea plans to launch an indigenously crafted ballistic missile from a submarine of its navy.
The Korean News Agency reported that South Korea is developing a missile that can be launched on board of submarines with a range of about 500 km, indicating that its design depends on the design of the ballistic missile (surface-to-ground) known as “Hyun Mo-2B”.
Korea completed the missile tests on the ground last year, and will move to the next stage for underwater launch tests.
