The Taiwanese Ministry of National Defence has announced that the XT112 assault rifle is set to be completed by the end of this year.
Designed and entirely manufactured in Taiwan, this rifle boasts several improvements over its predecessors, the T91 and T65K2 models. The XT112’s barrel is more powerful than that of the T91 and T65K2, contributing to its exceptional accuracy.
The XT112 model also offers ergonomic enhancements, such as a selector lever and an ambidextrous charging handle, making it usable for both left and right-handed individuals, ensuring easy access.
The XT112 rifle includes an integrated retractable bipod, facilitating shooting from a lower position.
