The Russian army has acquired a new long-range strike drone fundamentally different from its predecessors, “Lancet” and “Geran.” The new drone, designated “Italmas” (Product 54), features advanced tactical and technical specifications and recently participated in Russia’s latest airstrike on Ukrainian military installations.
With a maximum range of 200 kilometres, the Italmas has powerful warheads weighing several dozen kilograms. Its targeting system is powered by artificial intelligence (AI), enhancing precision and operational efficiency.
The drone is fitted with an internal combustion engine, and its fuel is stored within its two-metre-wide wings, significantly extending both its range and payload capacity.
