The UAE Ministry of Defence Participates as Strategic Partner in the 2025 Global Governance Summit

The UAE Ministry of Defence showcased its leadership role as a strategic partner at the 2025 Global Governance Summit, held in Dubai on January 22–23, 2025.

The summit focused on advancing governance, risk management, and cybersecurity at both national and international levels.

During its participation, the Ministry addressed key topics, including its Cybersecurity Strategy, which prioritises safeguarding data and digital infrastructure, and its Risk Management Framework, an essential tool for ensuring business continuity in the face of evolving challenges.

The summit highlighted the Ministry’s pivotal contributions, with H.E. Dr Mohamed Al Kuwaiti, Chairman of the UAE Government’s Cybersecurity Council, recognising the Ministry for its significant efforts in developing and implementing advanced cybersecurity strategies and supporting national governance initiatives.

In turn, the Ministry of Defence, represented by H.E. Brigadier General Mohamed Ali Al Bana, honoured Dr Al Kuwaiti for his exemplary leadership and substantial contributions to strengthening cybersecurity and advancing governance strategies on a national scale.

The Ministry’s active engagement and recognition at this prestigious event underscore its commitment to fostering strategic partnerships and enhancing the UAE’s security and digital infrastructure.
