US Soldiers participated in a training on counter Small Unmanned Aerial Vehicle Integrated Defense System (M-LIDS).
The latest M-LIDS system provides soldiers with the mobility, firepower and protection needed to detect threats of unmanned aircraft systems.
M-LIDS systems use a modular framework with advanced capabilities, and M-LIDS uses a range of passive and active sensors to detect, track and identify drones and enemy aircraft.
M-LIDS also utilizes a comprehensive network of communication, allowing the operator to initiate appropriate mitigation techniques, from electronic warfare to full physical intercepts.
