Integrated Air and Missile Defence Operations Course Concludes with Participation from 11 Countries

Major General Staff Mohammed Salem Al Hameli, Deputy Commander of the UAE Air Force and Air Defence, attended the closing ceremony of the Integrated Air and Missile Defence Operations Course, hosted by the United Arab Emirates with the participation of 11 countries: the Kingdom of Bahrain, the State of Qatar, the State of Kuwait, the Hashemite Kingdom of Jordan, the Republic of Türkiye, the Republic of Azerbaijan, Australia, the French Republic, the United States of America, the Federal Republic of Germany, and the United Kingdom.

The course aimed to facilitate the exchange of expertise and knowledge, enhance operational readiness, and provide training in joint procedures and practices in the field of air and missile defence. It also sought to strengthen interoperability, integration and coordination among the participating forces.

The course forms part of the Ministry of Defence’s efforts to strengthen security and defence cooperation and coordination between the United Arab Emirates and its brotherly and friendly countries. It also supports the exchange of expertise and operational experience, enhances mutual benefit, and contributes to strengthening security and stability.
