Netherlands Receives First Modern AH-64E Apache Helicopters

The Dutch Minister of Defence has announced the arrival of the first upgraded AH-64E Apache helicopters to the Netherlands.

These helicopters feature the latest communication systems, navigation aids, sensors, data links, and cognitive decision-making assistance systems for pilots.

The complete fleet of upgraded helicopters is expected to be delivered by 2025 and is slated to remain operational until 2050.

The upgrades were carried out at Boeing facilities, where the combat vehicles were fully disassembled, and specific components were tested and then reused or replaced with new ones.
