Staff Major General Hamid Mohammed Al Rumaithi, Commander of the UAE Naval Forces, received Admiral Nicolas Vaujour, Chief of Staff of the French Navy (Chef d’état-major de la Marine), as part of ongoing efforts to strengthen military and defence cooperation between the two countries.
During the meeting, the two sides reviewed prospects for expanding bilateral cooperation, particularly in the maritime and defence domains, and discussed ways to further strengthen coordination and expand the exchange of expertise. They also exchanged views on a number of issues of mutual interest.
As part of his visit to the UAE, Admiral Nicolas Vaujour also met with Major General Staff Yousef Abdullah Al Kaabi, Commander of the Joint Aviation Command. The meeting explored areas of cooperation and coordination in military and operational fields, as well as opportunities to exchange expertise in support of operational readiness and enhanced joint capabilities.
These meetings reflect the shared commitment of both countries to deepening defence partnerships and expanding military cooperation in ways that serve mutual interests and contribute to regional security and stability.
