Ministry of Defence Leaders Meet Chief of the Australian Air Force

Major General Staff Rashid Mohammed Al Shamsi, Commander of the Air Force and Air Defence, received Air Marshal Stephen Chappell, Chief of the Australian Air Force, as part of ongoing efforts to strengthen bilateral defence relations and enhance cooperation and coordination between the two sides.

During the meeting, the two sides reviewed avenues for advancing bilateral cooperation and expanding the exchange of expertise and best practices across military and operational domains. They also discussed a number of issues of mutual interest, reaffirming their commitment to strengthening joint cooperation, enhancing operational readiness, and elevating levels of coordination between the two forces.

As part of his visit to the UAE, Air Marshal Chappell also met with Brigadier Staff Ibrahim Yousef Al Nuaimi, Deputy Commander of the Naval Forces. The meeting explored areas of mutual cooperation and the exchange of military and maritime expertise within the framework of the growing bilateral relations between the two countries.

These meetings form part of ongoing efforts to deepen military partnerships and further develop mechanisms for joint coordination and cooperation, thereby enhancing readiness and advancing the effectiveness of joint military engagement between the two sides.
