Major General Staff Saeed Salmeen Al Alawi, Commandant of the National Defence College, received Lieutenant General Stefano Mannino, President of the Italian Centre for Higher Defence Studies (CHDS) – School of Advanced Defence Studies, as part of ongoing efforts to strengthen academic and military cooperation and exchange expertise in the fields of education and strategic studies.
During the meeting, the two sides explored avenues for enhancing bilateral cooperation and reviewed best practices in the preparation of senior military leaders and the delivery of advanced defence studies programmes. The discussions aimed to support the academic partnership and promote the exchange of expertise in a manner that serves their shared interests.
