His Excellency Lieutenant General Staff Ibrahim Nasser Al Alawi, Undersecretary of the Ministry of Defence, visited Viettel Group for Advanced Industry and Technology in the Socialist Republic of Vietnam, as part of the efforts to strengthen cooperation and exchange expertise in the fields of advanced defence technologies.
During the visit, His Excellency was briefed on the latest technological solutions and systems developed by the group, particularly in the areas of defence communications, cybersecurity and smart technologies, in addition to its projects supporting and advancing modern defence industries.
During the visit, His Excellency also met with Colonel Nguyen Vu Ha, Deputy General Director of the group. The meeting addressed opportunities for joint cooperation and expanding areas of partnership in defence industries and advanced technologies, in a manner that supports innovation and enhances defence capabilities.
His Excellency emphasised the importance of strengthening cooperation with leading global institutions in the field of defence technology, in support of modernisation and development efforts across the defence sector.
