ROKETSAN has unveiled a new smart glide munition named “Nester” during the SAHA EXPO 2026, a system that has been informally dubbed the “Ninja Missile” due to its unique non-explosive strike concept.
The weapon is based on the design architecture of the MAM-L precision munition, but incorporates several modifications aimed at enabling highly accurate kinetic effects rather than relying on a traditional explosive warhead.
The Nester system is equipped with a proximity sensor and a warhead fitted with deployable blades that are activated just before impact. This allows the munition to neutralise targets through direct kinetic force, significantly reducing collateral damage.
The system is designed for precision strike missions where minimal destruction is required, making it particularly suitable for special operations and engagements in densely populated or sensitive urban environments.
