The Higher Organising Committee for the International Defence Exhibition (IDEX) and Naval Defence and Maritime Security Exhibition (NAVDEX) 2027, along with the accompanying International Defence Conference, held its second meeting on September 17, 2026, to review preparations and readiness for the 18th edition of the event, which is set to be the largest in its history.
Held under the patronage of H.H. Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, President of the UAE, the upcoming edition will take place from January 25 to 29, 2027, at the Abu Dhabi National Exhibition Centre (ADNEC). The scale of the event reflects the prominent position that IDEX and NAVDEX have established on the global defence exhibition landscape.
IDEX and NAVDEX serve as leading platforms for showcasing the latest technologies and innovations in the defence industries, while promoting international cooperation and fostering strategic partnerships. The two exhibitions also contribute to the growth and development of the defence industries sector at both the national and international levels.
