Telnet Holding Group of Tunisia unveiled on 29 June its first drone made with %100 Tunisian expertise. The project of the Phoenix drone was launched in 2018.
The drone is 4.7 x 4.2 meters, and can travel a distance of 800 km at an altitude of 5 km for 8 hours continuous. This ability to fly this long is due to the large fuel tank the drone has.
The Phoenix drone has an automatic flight system, a remote control system, and an anti-collision system. Therefore, it can be used to conduct rescue and search operations.
