H.E. Mohammed bin Mubarak bin Fadhel Al Mazrouei, Minister of State for Defence Affairs, visited the Azerbaijan International Defence Industry Exhibition (ADEX 2026), held in the Azerbaijani capital, Baku, with the participation of a number of countries and leading international companies specialising in the defence industry.
During the visit, H.E. was accompanied by H.E. Mohammed Murad Hassan Al Balushi, UAE Ambassador to the Republic of Azerbaijan; Major General Staff Rashid Mohammed Al Shamsi, Commander of the UAE Air Force and Air Defence; and a number of senior officers.
H.E. held meetings with H.E. Colonel General Zakir Hasanov, Minister of Defence of the Republic of Azerbaijan; H.E. Vugar Mustafayev, Minister of Defence Industry of the Republic of Azerbaijan; H.E. Robert Kaliňák, Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Defence of the Slovak Republic; and H.E. Volodymyr Zaveryukha, First Deputy Minister for Strategic Industries of Ukraine.
The meetings addressed a number of issues of mutual interest, as well as ways to enhance cooperation and coordination and exchange expertise in defence-related fields. Such engagement contributes to the strengthening of bilateral relations between the United Arab Emirates and its friendly countries.
