The UAE’s Artificial Intelligence, Digital Economy and Remote Work Applications Office has launched the “Guide to Leading Generative Artificial Intelligence Applications”, providing a comprehensive reference designed to help government entities, private sector organisations, individuals, developers and talented professionals maximise the use of generative AI technologies across a wide range of fields.
The launch comes as part of the Office’s broader initiatives to strengthen digital innovation culture and enable institutions and individuals to keep pace with the rapid technological transformations reshaping the global AI landscape. The guide also supports the UAE’s ongoing efforts to accelerate the adoption of artificial intelligence solutions across multiple sectors.
The guide serves as a practical knowledge platform aimed at building a future-ready society by providing access to some of the most influential tools and applications in the field of generative AI. It is intended to help developers, innovators, government entities and private organisations explore the advanced capabilities of generative AI and apply them effectively in professional and creative environments.
Dr Abdulrahman Al Mahmoud, Department Director at the Artificial Intelligence, Digital Economy and Remote Work Applications Office, highlighted the importance of empowering individuals and institutions to benefit from advanced technological solutions and integrate them into government development strategies while enhancing the competitiveness of the national economy.
He stressed the need to develop effective mechanisms that enable government entities, communities and individuals to keep pace with global developments in governmental artificial intelligence. He added that accelerating the responsible and efficient adoption of AI solutions would contribute to faster innovation while opening new horizons for productivity and knowledge development.
Al Mahmoud explained that the guide aims to showcase the potential of generative AI applications and raise awareness of the opportunities they offer. It also seeks to help organisations and individuals better understand how these technologies can improve workflows, enhance productivity and support modern working methods.
The guide reviews 19 key uses and applications of generative AI, including image and video generation, language translation and music composition. It targets government entities, private sector organisations, entrepreneurs, developers, students, talented individuals and technology enthusiasts by offering a simplified and practical reference to the most prominent generative AI applications and their use cases across professional and creative sectors.
In addition, the guide highlights a range of best practices and practical implementation models that enable users to utilise generative AI tools responsibly and effectively.
