Russia has announced that it will display the latest Orlan-30 reconnaissance drone for the first time at the Aero India 2023 exhibition.
Russia’s state arms manufacturer Rosoboronexport plans to unveil a program for countering hostile drones, including the self-propelled electronic warfare system “Repellent – Patrol”, which protects an area of 20 kilometres and can detect enemy drones and suppress their command/telemetry and navigation channels through direct jamming.
The “Orlan-30” drone is designed primarily for correcting artillery fire, in addition, it can cooperate with the MSTA-S self-propelled howitzer, allowing it to destroy targets upon detection.
