The British Army Showcases Unmanned Aircraft System

The British Army presented the latest developments pioneered by the defence and security industry in the United Kingdom, among which is the Watchkeeper X system, a modern unmanned aircraft system designed and developed by the British company U-TacS.

This system incorporates 40 unmanned aircraft equipped with state-of-the-art sensors smoothly integrated into the aircraft structure, proving exceptional performance and reliability on a global scale.

Watchkeeper X is a high-performance tactical unmanned aircraft, an export version of the well-known Thales Watchkeeper WK 450. It stands out with advanced sensors, including a renewing radar system.

The aircraft is equipped with hardpoints under the wing that can accommodate external fuel tanks and light weapons like the Free Fall-Light Multi-role Missile (FF-LMM) and accurately guided munitions.
