The United States Unveils New Secret Weapon

The U.S. Navy has revealed a new air-to-air missile, the AIM-174B, with an impressive range of 250 miles, far exceeding the capabilities of the AIM-120 AMRAAM, the current standard missile for American stealth fighters.

While the missile is capable of engaging enemy fighter jets, experts believe its primary strength lies in targeting auxiliary aircraft, such as early warning planes, which play a crucial role in military operations.

By neutralising these aircraft, adversary forces lose vital surveillance and control capabilities, making them more vulnerable to attacks.

The AIM-174B is based on the design of the SM-6 missile, which was originally developed for use in anti-aircraft and ballistic missile warfare.
