The Israeli naval version of the Iron Dome defence system, known as C-Dome, has successfully intercepted multiple targets simultaneously, including missiles and drones launched from different directions and angles.
C-Dome is designed to effectively protect combat ships from a wide range of modern threats. Its components include a multi-role launcher loaded with vertically launched cylindrical interceptor missiles. The launcher is installed below the ship’s surface.
C-Dome utilizes the ship’s onboard surveillance radar and seamlessly integrates its weapon system with the ship’s combat management system, making system operation easy.
