Pakistan Launches “Haider” MBT in Collaboration with China

Pakistan has officially launched its new Main Battle Tank (MBT) named Haider. This tank has been produced in Pakistan by HIT in collaboration with the Chinese company, Norinco.

Equipped with an advanced fire control system, Haider integrates various sensors and targeting devices to enhance precision and lethality on the battlefield.

Regarding propulsion, Haider features an electronically controlled turbo diesel engine generating 1200 horsepower, coupled with a hydro-mechanical automatic transmission.

Furthermore, Haider can reach a maximum speed of 70 km/h on paved roads and has a range of 500 km.
