Anduril Unveils Autonomous Combat Aircraft “Fury”

US-based company Anduril Industries has unveiled Fury, an advanced autonomous combat aircraft designed as a fifth-generation class platform with independent operational capabilities.

The aircraft is capable of reaching altitudes of up to 50,000 feet and speeds of approximately Mach 0.95. It is powered by a Williams FJ44-4M engine and uses the Lattice artificial intelligence system to make engagement decisions autonomously, while still allowing human oversight.

Fury can carry AIM-120 AMRAAM missiles and is being developed as part of the Collaborative Combat Aircraft programme to enhance integration between manned and unmanned platforms. Designed with cost efficiency and rapid production in mind, it represents a significant step towards scalable autonomous air combat systems and the future of aerial warfare.
