War College hosted Rear Admiral Hugues Lanier, Commander of the French Forces stationed in the United Arab Emirates and Commander of the French Maritime Zone in the Indian Ocean, for a meeting with participants of the College’s Seventh War Course as part of the programme’s academic curriculum.
The session addressed a range of topics related to maritime security and the strategic challenges facing the region. The discussion also examined aspects of military cooperation and defence partnership between the United Arab Emirates and the French Republic.
This meeting forms part of the College’s ongoing commitment to broadening participants’ knowledge and deepening their understanding of strategic and security affairs through the hosting of eminent military leaders and experts.
