Indra Unveils SQUALL Cruise Missile for Long-Range Strikes

Spanish company Indra has unveiled its new SQUALL cruise missile, designed to conduct precise, coordinated strikes against strategic targets at ranges exceeding 300 kilometres.

Designed to fly at low altitudes to reduce its exposure to radar detection, the SQUALL features guidance and navigation systems resistant to jamming and electronic deception.

The missile is designed to integrate with fixed and mobile land- and sea-based platforms, including containers and tactical vehicles. Its low cost enables tactical saturation attacks aimed at overwhelming air defence systems and exhausting their resources.

The SQUALL relies on locally sourced components and independent supply chains, allowing production to be rapidly scaled up during crises. It complements Indra’s counter-uncrewed aircraft systems and uncrewed aircraft within a layered defence architecture.
