The Czech Republic has completed testing of its first domestically developed cruise missile, the Narwhal 140, developed by LPP Holding, and has announced its readiness to begin serial production.
The missile has a range of more than 600 kilometres, which can be extended to approximately 730 kilometres in a lightweight variant equipped with a 40-kilogramme warhead. The Narwhal 140 family also includes variants fitted with warheads weighing up to 200 kilogrammes.
Travelling at a speed of approximately 750 km/h, the missile uses an artificial intelligence-assisted guidance system designed to resist jamming and maintain navigational capabilities in the event of GPS signal loss.
