Turkey’s Korkut 35 Successfully Completes Live-Fire Trials

Turkish defence company Aselsan has announced the successful completion of live-fire trials for its Korkut 35 air defence system, attended by defence delegations from 12 countries.

The trials demonstrated the system’s ability to detect, track and accurately engage moving targets while on the move. These included loitering munitions, small unmanned aerial vehicles (UAVs), fixed-wing aircraft, cruise missiles, air-to-surface missiles and helicopters. The system also demonstrated its effectiveness against moving ground targets while both the system and the target were in motion.

Mounted on a tactical wheeled platform, the Korkut 35 offers enhanced battlefield mobility and operational flexibility. According to Aselsan, the system provides a mobile solution for protecting military forces and critical infrastructure against evolving aerial threats.
