Russian defence exporter ROSOBORONEXPORT, a subsidiary of the Rostec State Corporation, has announced the launch of the Nerekhta-E tracked unmanned ground vehicle on international markets.
Featuring a hybrid powertrain and an armoured hull, the robotic platform is designed to perform reconnaissance, surveillance, fire support, facility protection, casualty evacuation and logistics missions, helping to reduce risks to personnel. Its armament options include a 12.7 mm Kord heavy machine gun, a 30 mm AG-30M automatic grenade launcher, and Kornet or Bulat anti-tank missiles.
The Nerekhta-E has a maximum speed of 20 kilometres per hour and can operate for up to four hours while moving, or up to 20 hours in surveillance mode. It weighs 2,100 kg, while its cargo variant can carry loads of up to one tonne. ROSOBORONEXPORT states that the system has successfully completed comprehensive state trials.
