The Arab Organization for Industrialization, a state-owned Egyptian company, has unveiled the armoured ambulance “Fahd 300-MD”
at the EDEX 2023 defence exhibition.
The vehicle is powered by a Cummins ISBe2 300 diesel engine, generating 300 horsepower, with a top speed of 105 km/h and a range of 700 km.
The Fahd-300 also adopts a new V-shaped body design, providing increased protection against ground mines and improvised explosive devices (IEDs).
In terms of dimensions, the Fahd-300-MD is approximately 6.5 meters in length, 2.6 meters in width, and 2.6 meters in height, weighing 17 tons, including a 3-ton payload capacity.
