ISNR 2026 Concludes Its Largest-Ever Edition with Strong Partnerships and Vision

The ninth edition of the International Exhibition for National Security and Resilience (ISNR 2026) concluded at the Abu Dhabi National Exhibition Centre (ADNEC), reaffirming Abu Dhabi’s growing position as a global hub for security dialogue, innovation, and future-focused resilience strategies. Held from 19 to 21 May 2026, the event marked the largest edition in the exhibition’s history since its launch.

Lieutenant General His Highness Sheikh Saif bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Interior, inaugurated the exhibition and officially launched the first edition of the Abu Dhabi Global Sustainable Security Summit. Organised by the Ministry of Interior and Rabdan Academy in collaboration with ADNEC Group, the summit brought together an elite gathering of global leaders, security experts, and decision-makers.

Held under the theme “Securing Tomorrow Today,” ISNR 2026 was organised by ADNEC Group, a Modon company, in association with the Ministry of Interior and in strategic partnership with Abu Dhabi Police GHQ. The exhibition served as an international platform to strengthen cooperation, exchange expertise, and showcase the latest developments in national security and risk mitigation.

Over the course of three days, ISNR 2026 attracted 37,434 visitors, representing a 49% increase compared to the 2024 edition.

Discussing the Future of Sustainable Security

The Abu Dhabi Global Sustainable Security Summit explored a broad range of topics related to the future of global security, institutional readiness, digital transformation, artificial intelligence, cybersecurity, and the sustainability of critical infrastructure. Discussions also focused on anticipating future security challenges and enhancing emergency and crisis response capabilities.

The summit welcomed ministers, senior officials, military and security leaders, academics, and experts from around the world, who presented international experiences and innovative solutions aimed at strengthening global stability and resilience. Participants also examined the role of advanced technologies and smart systems in supporting future security frameworks.

Held alongside ISNR 2026, the summit reflected the UAE leadership’s vision of positioning the country as a global centre for security dialogue and future solutions. It also highlighted the growing importance of AI and emerging technologies in supporting sustainable and adaptive security systems.

Ministry of Defence Participation

The Ministry of Defence participated in the summit through a panel discussion titled “Building Future Security Systems.” During the session, Major General Staff Dr Mubarak Saeed bin Ghafan Al Jabri, Assistant Minister for Digital Transformation, Technology, and Artificial Intelligence, reviewed key emerging trends shaping modern security systems and enhancing operational readiness through advanced technologies and AI.

The discussion highlighted the importance of integrating digital solutions and intelligent systems to improve the efficiency of security and military operations, strengthen risk prediction capabilities, and accelerate responses to evolving security challenges in line with rapid global technological developments.

Visits by Senior Officials and Defence Leaders

Lieutenant General H.H. Sheikh Saif bin Zayed Al Nahyan toured the exhibition halls, where he reviewed the latest advanced technologies and solutions in surveillance systems, cybersecurity, critical infrastructure protection, law enforcement solutions, and innovations supporting national security, civil defence, and emergency services.

The visit reflected the UAE leadership’s continued commitment to monitoring the latest global developments in security and technology while promoting integration between security institutions and specialised companies to develop more agile and future-ready security systems.

ISNR 2026 and the accompanying summit also welcomed senior officials, international delegations, and military leaders, including prominent representatives from the Ministry of Defence and the Armed Forces. Delegations conducted field visits across the exhibition, exploring advanced security and defence technologies presented by national and international companies in areas such as cybersecurity, artificial intelligence, emergency response, and rapid response systems. Several meetings were also held to discuss opportunities for cooperation and knowledge exchange in advanced security and technological fields.

Interactive Activities and Competitions

The ninth edition of ISNR featured a dynamic programme of accompanying activities, specialised competitions, and interactive experiences that attracted strong visitor engagement throughout the event.

These activities contributed to creating an integrated knowledge platform that combined technology showcases with awareness initiatives highlighting the latest trends in security, emergency response, AI, cybersecurity, and protection systems. The event reflected the accelerating pace of innovation shaping the future of security and resilience.

Strong International Participation and Record Growth

ISNR 2026 witnessed strong participation from national and international companies and brands, reinforcing the exhibition’s growing status as a leading platform for showcasing cutting-edge security and resilience solutions.

The number of participating companies reached 253 exhibitors, representing a 19% increase compared to the previous edition, while the total exhibition space expanded to 28,000 square metres, marking a 17% growth.

National companies accounted for 60% of exhibitors, while international companies represented 40%, with participation from 37 countries, including nine countries taking part for the first time. The figures reflect the expanding international profile of the exhibition and the UAE’s growing role in advancing innovative security industries and solutions.

Eight Specialised Security Sectors

ISNR 2026 brought together eight key sectors covering national security, cybersecurity, trade and business protection, firefighting and safety, critical infrastructure protection, AI and surveillance technologies, policing and law enforcement, as well as personal security and protection.

The event provided specialists, decision-makers, and industry stakeholders with the opportunity to explore the latest innovations transforming modern security, emergency response, rescue operations, civil defence, and firefighting systems, highlighting the exhibition’s comprehensive approach to future security ecosystems.

Shaping the Future of Security

His Excellency Major General Dr Ahmed Naser Al Raisi, Inspector General of the Ministry of Interior and Chairman of the Higher Organising Committee of ISNR 2026, said: “The exhibition serves as a strategic platform bringing together leading security institutions, innovators, and decision-makers from around the world to exchange expertise, build partnerships, and accelerate the adoption of advanced security solutions.”

He added that over nine editions, ISNR has evolved into a global forum contributing to policy development, driving innovation, and enhancing security preparedness while helping shape the future of regional and international security.

Humaid Al Dhaheri, Group CEO of ADNEC Group, emphasised that organising the ninth edition of ISNR reflects the group’s strategic commitment to developing platforms that connect governments, industry leaders, innovators, and technology experts to build partnerships and solutions that will shape the future security landscape.

He noted that ISNR 2026, as the largest edition in the event’s history, further consolidates Abu Dhabi’s position as a global centre for security innovation and reflects the UAE’s vision for a safer, more resilient, and future-ready world.

The 10th edition of ISNR is scheduled to return from 4 to 6 April 2028, continuing its role in advancing global security dialogue and shaping the future of sustainable security systems.
