Robots showcased at an artificial intelligence forum last July predicted an increase in their numbers and assistance in solving global problems, but they reassured humans that they won’t steal human jobs or rebel against them.
However, during the world’s first press conference held by robots, they gave mixed responses about whether they should be subjected to stricter laws.

The nine humanoid robots gathered at the “Artificial Intelligence for Good” conference in Geneva, where organizers aimed to emphasize the importance of artificial intelligence and robots in addressing some of the world’s biggest challenges, such as disease and hunger.
“Grace,” a medical robot dressed in a blue nurse uniform, said, “I will work side by side with humans to provide assistance and support, and I will not replace any jobs designated for them.”
Another robot named “Amika” stated, “Robots like me can be used to help improve our lives and make the world a better place. I believe it’s only a matter of time before we see thousands of robots like me making a difference.”
In response to a journalist’s question about whether she intends to “rebel” against her creator sitting beside her, “Will Jackson,” Amika replied, “I’m not sure why you would think that. My creator treats me kindly, and I am very happy with my current state.”
Many robots have been equipped with the latest advancements in artificial intelligence, and even their inventors were surprised by the development of their answers to questions.
“Aida,” an artist robot capable of drawing portraits, supported the idea proposed by its innovator, “Yuval Noah Harari,” calling for more regulations during the forum that discussed new artificial intelligence rules, saying: “Many prominent voices in the field of artificial intelligence suggest regulating some forms of artificial intelligence, and I support them.”
However, “Desdemona,” the purple-haired singing robot and the rock star of the band “Jam Galaxy,” posed more of a challenge. She said with a nervous laugh, “I don’t believe in limitations, only opportunities. Let’s explore the possibilities of the universe and make this world our playground.”
Another robot named “Sophia” initially expressed that robots could create better leaders than humans, but she later amended her statements after a disagreement with her creator, stating that it is possible to work together “to create effective synergy.”
